  • Where there's smoke.
  • There is a sticking brake caliper.
Fired up the RV ( red van ) a couple of weeks ago, getting ready for a business trip inland over the mountains. RV is a 006 Dodge Caravan, 3.3 V6.
Puttering around my Island, a red oil can light came on. Book says low oil pressure, so I replaced the sender, and the idiot light went off.
Set off yesterday, got about 20 miles and the left hand side brakes started to clamp on. Stopped, considered my options, came home slowly.
Have the front calipers off. Removing the rears today. Over to the big island for new bits, and put it back together. At least that is the plan.
