  • Photobucket
  • Well they finally got around to me I guess, tried to get one of my photos to post and got the $399 dun or no sharing. So, is there anyway to un-capture and transfer my photos to another site like Imgur etc? Probably not I'm guessing.

  • Walt -yes, you can copy your Photo-Sucket pictures and save them to your desktop/folder for future use elsewhere. It is even better if you have the originals saved already, like from your initial camera library app on your computer. When PB first announced their new policy changes back in June, 2017, up until then if you wanted to download your entire album, all you needed to do was scroll down the right side and find the entire menu to do so. Once you initiated the procedure, it would send you your entire album in a Zip File via email. When PB got wind that many free account holders were doing that and taking their business elsewhere, they put a kibosh on the activity making it so it would not work, and at last check, still wasn't working, with many tech support inquiries only getting the reply from them that 'the problem is under review by our team' crapola. You can still copy and save your photos is from there, you just have to do it solo now. Each photo can be opened and then the http copied and saved to your computer. I started to do this but it is a very S-L-O-W process and very time consuming. They know this and figure not many will do that anyway. Once you copy and save an photo from there, if you don't rename it, you will probably lose it or not be able to link it. Many of us have gone to the IMGUR site now, but chances are they may go to a pay as you go policy sometime in the future too. Just for the heck of it, you should first try to download your entire album and see what happens.

  • found this on a motorcycle forum I hang out on. Lets you see the picture instead of the ad. I'm using Windows 7Pro and Google Chrome and it seems to work just fine. Thought I would share if you want to give it a shot. Here is a copy of the post I read it from:

If you're using Google Chrome, go to the three dots on the right side of the screen and click them. A drop down should appear. Hover your mouse over "More Tools," and when the next drop down appears, click on extensions. Go to the link towards the bottom that says "Get more extensions." In the search box, type "Photobucket Fix," and hit enter. Click the install button and once it's done, you should be able to see photobucket pictures again.

For FireFox users, click on the three bars on the right side of the screen, then click on add ons. Click search for "photobucket hotlink" and click install. Same result.

    Hope this helps.
