  • Turkey whisperer
  • This is got to be the best turkey video. I hope the guy does not shoot off his thumb.

  • Funny stuff –young man struts a flock of wild turkey. Story says in Glasgow, MT, where there ‘virtually are no turkeys’, so don’t know how to explain/verify that. Perhaps John “RustyNuts” Locke can chirp in…

Someone said the turkeys are tame/domesticated because the men have been feeding them, but I really doubt that. The story say the men were pheasant hunting. Most state’s pheasant seasons are in the fall and if you look at the trees in the background, they are barren and the ground shows some old dead leaves, but that doesn’t confirm it is indeed the fall. I’d question that part as male turkeys usually split up in the fall and go solo til spring. This flock is all males I’m pretty sure –toms and jakes and note they toms are strutting. That indicates the spring mating ritual so a lot of ‘what ifs’ with this story.

  • The only thing I can figure is they are tame and that guy feeds them everyday. May have raised them from eggs. I know one thing I could never duck walk that far with my poor old knees.6415

  • He sure has the vocals. Reading at the bottom of the clip doesn't say anything about tame wild turkeys. Possible, I suppose.
