  • N Tractor Club Calendar
  • I was slow to flip the pages to March on my calendars. As I did it, I was thinking, "who are the owners of each of these"? How about each month the owners identify their tractor and it's position on the page. Give the year, location on the page and anything special about it or interesting stories about it.
We have passed January and February but tell us anyway. For the rest, tell us when each month is flipped.
Mine was upper right of January: the 1951 8N, "Nellybelle", was purchased by my father in 1953. I was 10. It has a Sherman Combo. The engine has been rebuilt 3 times in 65 years.
The other Ford is a 1942 GPW. It belongs to my son and is stored in my barn. He bought it in 2012 out of a private collection in Dundee, Mich. It has been in numerous parades and in some of the promos with the Rosie the Riveters for the Yankee Air Museum at Willow Run Airport.

  • In March, upper right is my '43 2n winch tractor. Uses a 10K PTO winch
In January, lower right is my '39 9n
In April, upper left is my '60 631

  • You mean you desire that I should open that collectors item and devalue it?
Yeah. The wife thinks I am nuts also.
I had to ask her where it was. . . . oops. So, on the preceding month of February on the lower right corner is a very abused snow covered Demonstrator that came home for $2600 a year ago or so. Make that two years. I took off last year for the cancer routine. Another oops. Abused because it's sitting in the snow and was painted blue by a mis-guided previous owner. The last owner replaced a broken spindle possibly due to an overloaded bucket. My desire is to restore it to it's original looking former glory less the FEL. The Demonstrator will loose the pie weights and get a front snow blade instead. Another insult.
