  • This is not something easily accomplished as I found out years ago when I wanted to do same. First, the show had to be sponsored by a local club, adequate insurance was needed, and things like public showers, parking, security, and camping were also required. Join or contact your local tractor club and the try the Ford/Fordson Collectors Association as they may help host one.

  • I have never "hosted" a tractor show. I have attended many and I was a member, and for a while, the VP of the Southeast Michigan Antique Tractor & Engine Assoc. The latter takes many people and a site large enough to handle the attendance, exhibitors and spectators.
There have been some local farmers host plow days. These are open to anyone with a tractor and plow. A field is laid out by the owner.
Attendees may share a potluck or the owner may specialize in a burger or hot dog roast or a chili cook off, etc. A nominal fee to help offset costs may be considered.
Is there any shelter available? A barn or tent?
How will you publicize your event? Fliers, local news, national news?
Just a few considerations. The idea is to have safe family fun.
