  • The Real McCoys 1957
  • "You Can't Cheat a Honest Man". From season one, this episode debuts the McCoy's Ford tractor at run time 7:50. It appears to have a NAA type hood ornament, but has smooth axle flanges with no nut. Its definitely a 4 speed. In subsequent episodes the tractor is a 860 with Power Steering. Notice the specs on the engine that Pepino reads to Grandpa Amos. SoS.

  • Yes, one of many TV/Movie Ford Tractor sightings. We have a thread or two with a whole list -HISTORY page I think. Here is another (see LINK) from the old 60's TV show, "Green Acres" where Lisa buys Oliver a surprise birthday gift - a FORD 6000 Commander Tractor. There were a few episodes of this show featuring Ford tractors as Ford was a huge sponsor. Enjoy...

  • You beat me to that one PloughMan. I remember when that show was new and especially that episode "Don't Look a Gift Tractor in the Mouth". The salesman told Mrs.Douglas it had 395 HP. The sales lot also had a Industrial tractor, a Allis G, and a smaller Dexta looking tractor with a front emblem that appears to read " Blank". Ah the good old days. SoS.

  • Good one sos. I bet Ford kinda cringed when they saw it. Looks like a 54 NAA or a 55 600 without decal. Would have been quite a hoss with 85 hp and 220 c.i.d.
