  • Grease Seal
  • I have an old Montgomery Ward hay wagon. I need to replace the wheel bearings, which I have, but I can't find the part numbers for the grease seals that go behind the rear of the bearings. Can anyone help me here. Thanks, Gary

  • Got the seals yesterday. Installed today. What a greasy job. It's not really a hay wagon, it's a sheep wagon. Next job is removing the wagon top from the carriage and sanding and painting. A summer long job. Thanks for the help. Gary

  • I can't find any parts manual for you, but bearings and races can be found at Motion Industries -see LINK below. Take your old ones in and they can measure and cross reference. A visual inspection will determine what type of bearing it is too. Also know that back then TIMKEN was the major bearing supplier for the industry and they are still making product. HTH...

  • Tim; Quick search showed Motion Industries has a location in Spokane. I'll stop by next time I'm in town. Thanks, Gary

  • Yep -they are nationwide and stock or can get just about any bearing, seal, and race made. Be sure to take your old parts with you so they can measure and match up.
