Now that I am back on the Island after a most excellent summer cruise, there is work to be done. I need a cottage. It the way, are two big trees, one rolling condo, and a 15 by 10 shed. Pros can drop the trees, truck can move the RC.
I have two long logs under the shed. About 8 - 9 inches diameter. Have a 4 inch C section of steel bolted to logs. Floor joists are at 90 degrees to logs. Will empty the heavy stuff from inside, but it is still heavy. The ground is dry and hard.
Will lift and insert ?? under logs. Half inch ply and make wet and slippery, or round fence posts at about 3 feet apart. Thinking posts might dig in and not roll, but shed could still slide. Shed has to move about 40 feet and to a 180. Posts might be better for turning.
Merci, I mean thank you. Island Mike.

Re: Shed moving
I vote to skid it, Just moved our old deck 12'X 14'to the new house, not as heavy I'm sure but still heavy enough, I jacked it up and placed long 2"x 8"by 16' under it and then soaped the $h!t out of it and then dragged it over to the new house with my backhoe, I just kept extending the 2x8x16 as I went, worked perfect.
