  • There is no humor in putting someone down. So why watch a show that puts down every subject that is brought up. Just like the Media is bought and paid for by the Leftist (in my opinion)SNL is nothing more than an extension of the Left and their Liberal Mind Set. Give me back the Old Days.

  • Don't watch it, haven't watched it in over 35 years. the humor was lost long ago, probably by the second crew. Sketches went nowhere and certainly were not funny. For what is happening today, it's apparent one does not need an education to be a 'writer'. Just look at all the prime time shows on now. It's like a step back in time via the way-back machine, Sherman. Shows like "Magnum PI"; "Hawaii Five-O"; "MacGyver"; "Murphy Brown"; the "FBI"; the "Rookie"; "SWAT"; and some others only further prove The millenials have no clue, no imagination, no incentive to come up with fresh material. Like young engineers with car companies. Limited mentalities. "DENALI", "MOUNTAINEER", "AVALANCHE", "TUNDRA" -"VOLT" -really?? These are the best you can come up with???

  • They have all become rabid over President Trump. Seth Meyers is the worst. I never really liked Meyers so I don't miss not watching him. Same goes for Kimmel Fallen and the wierd guy on ABC. They are elitest snobs who arent really all that funny. I still watch Johnny Carson reruns and he was funny. When Johnny had Robin Williams or Burt Reynolds or Don Richols on his show, they were hilarious. George Carlin too, but only in his younger years. All media is so slanted liberal these days I don't watch them any more. I actually enjoy turning them off. That is my political commentary. I push the off button and watch them disappear...

  • Years....1978 about right? That would be about 40 years so far and counting.
The intro used to be entertaining and that also fell flat.
Just like the rest of it.

  • Re: SNL
  • We used to watch SNL for the 5 minutes of humor in each show. Now it's missing even that.

  • I can always find something better to do with my time than sitting around watching the idiot box. Haven't watched any tv in years, and don't plan to start anytime soon.

  • Well said Mower.
I haven't owned a tv for most of my adult life and haven't at all for about 15 years.
The negative effects of tv on this great republic are a tragedy.
