  • Folks, I'm a big fan of classic country music (can't stand anything within the last 35+ years).

I've always been a big fan of Wanda Jackson.

She is more well known for recordings other than this, but I like this one.

  • ...guitars and Cadillacs, and hillbilly music...

I'm an old school rocker having played in many bands, but appreciated Country music ever since I was a kid. I love pedal steel guitar and the fiddle...

  • Wanda's is truly a great rendition of the old Carl & Pearl Butler song. Much like yourself, I too prefer listening to the (what was back then called "Hillbilly music") early country music. In my opinion, if there's no steel guitar or fiddles in the band, it's not true country music.
