  • Who has snow??
  • A lot of buzz here in Va about a big snow heading this way for the weekend. We already had our big snow for the season back before Christmas.
So will this be the year of the big snow?
Who has snow and how much?

  • Starting sometime Friday night and continuing all day yesterday it appears we may have gotten about 6 inches. Best snow we have had in three years. May be the most snow on the ground in that same period! About 2 inches yesterday morning but it continued very lightly all day. Had to look close to even see it.

Hope we took some of the moisture out of the clouds for you people.

  • We finally have a 1/2" here in balmy Michigan. Girl friend and I went to Applebees last sunday, 10 trip in my power chair and was 47 degrees. I do not think we will get any bad weather this winter simply because my whole house generator was installed and tested tuesday.

  • I can see a power chair snow plow design comming up soon. Is that what the plate and big spring are for? You got chains for that thing?

  • No snow in Des Moines, Iowa. May get some Sunday and more is expected in southern Iowa. I did not use my snow blower year before last. One time last year and have not even put fresh gas in it this year!

  • We are against most everything on the Island, and that include snow. It is not allowed. BUT. In about a week Shirley and I are driving to the frozen tundra area of Edmonton AB. They do not get a lot of snow, just cold temperatures. The snow is usually the very fine stuff that blows off the roads, rather than sticking. To get the we have to go over the Cascade range of mountains, plus the Rockies, and a few other bumps in between. The Dodge Caravan has 4 new winter tyres. Plus a real spare.

  • It is snowing right now Very light. Not enough
on the ground to be bothered about.
But more may come. Very cold, in the teens
    and lots of wind.

  • I'm 40 miles north of Toledo and 35 miles southwest of Detroit. No snow and none is forecast for the next week. We did have about 1/2 inch earlier this week. Global Michigan.
