  • Forum rules
  • Although I am a strong conservative and agree politically with most of this board members, I also believe in obeying the rules when on different forums. I have noticed recently a number of rule breaks concerning rule #3. It does not look good to me, especially when coming from leaders of the forum.

""What we DO NOT allow in our forums:

1 Spam (inappropriate & non-related material containing advertisements, pornography, etc.)
2 Foul Language Including Racist Remarks
    3 Personal Attacks
    4 Double Posts/Messages
5 Posts/Messages in the Wrong Forum (we will delete or move to the appropriate forum)
6 Continuous conduct that in the opinion of this site's administrators constitutes a detriment to this web site."

  • One example

While looking, I noticed something very peculiar. First, I went to archives and it doesn't search the politics forum. Second, I went back in the politics forum to Dec. 1. I did not find even one post by Paul. It sure looks like someone did some major cleaning and deleting since I started this thread.

I wonder if I will be banned after this post?

  • Politics never have been archived for one. Ads never were either and once they fall down off the list are gone. I don't know what happened to Paul. I have an idea but don't care either.

  • Tim, We the admins "Should care"
We need to discuss this on the Admin forum.

  • What I meant was I don't care that 'Paul Ma' is gone. He most likely crossed the line and posted something foul and thus created his own demise. He was a PITA troll for certain, only stirring up crap in politics and only once or twice posting anything else tractor related on other boards. Good Riddance. I also disagree with the statement the NTC practices double standards when it comes to liberal and conservative points of view. When one posts political or religious views, they better have a thick skin and be prepared to accept the backlash that always follows. It's when one gets nasty and breaks a rule that they get blocked. It may just be a coincidence it usually is a liberal who does that, and we have had our share of liberal trolls here over the years, most now blocked from posting. We don't have any 'club' rules that say one has to be a Ford tractor owner nor any 'club' registration requirements in order to post on the forums, so they're open to anyone.

  • I have not noticed any "personal attacks". A few short fuses and grumpy old men but that is normal. You are not talking about the politics forum are you? Those guys are really mean LOL. But that is what that forum is for.

  • Re: Forum rules
  • The rules I read did not say "except politics forum". It just said "no personal attacks"

  • You apparently missed his post to me that stated "SUCK MY DEM D!CK"

That's why I blocked his IP address and nuked his posts. Not to mention that Paul (MA) is actually a past troll by the name of Kevin French who was permanently banned by a unanimous vote of seven admin's here in 2011.

Alternative viewpoints are welcome in the Politics and other forums, but this clown, by his own description, "...enjoys being a burr under the saddle of conservatives...". He did not come here to discuss, he came here to aggravate and agitate and that is not welcome here.

Feel free to email if you wish to discuss further.

  • No, I did not see that. If I had, I would have reported it then. Don't blame you for the bans. No emails, all is clear now. Thanks for explaining it.

  • So who deems what is personal? I presume by this post you did not think your attack on me was personal, but I sure did.
