  • Dishwasher repair
  • I got a call from my youngest daughter, her dishwasher was dead again.this is the third time I had to operate on it. Now Iím a retired Electrical and instrument tech. So Iím pretty handy around electronics so I tore in to it .Door switch seemed like the problem at least we thought it was last time or maybe it wasnít level, nothing seemed to I was putting it back together and I asked my daughter to turn the breaker off while I buttoned up the electrical Junction box .when I was done she turned it back on. And away it went the machine has micro processor and all I had to do was cycle the power. Which is what we had did other times without realizing it. We both had a good laugh because it the first thing you should do with most of this stuff.

  • Ran into that working on slot machines. Spend a couple hours trying to diagnose a problem then turn it on and it works. I swear these electronics have a mind of their own.

  • Sometimes it is the simple things. New furnace in Shirley's condo would not fire.
Thermostat switch on the wall uses batteries. Old ones were flat.
