  • Coffee and black pepper
  • I was ready an article about a hospital in India that uses coffee and black pepper to cure or treat bronchitis. Put teaspoon of black pepper on the grounds before you brew the coffee. Clears congestion and inflammation. also helps with digestion and fights cancer. Not bad tasting either. For some odd reason pepper won't desolve in the cup you have to brew it into your coffee.

  • Initial tests completed here. I did not have black pepper so used brown pepper. Started with half a tea spoon, 1/4 tea spoon, then just a sprinkle. You can taste the pepper no matter the amount. Kind of a kinky acquired taste. My slightly plugged nose is still with me. This is not a full on flu type problem, just a bit of a pluggy nose. I seem to be cancer free, and eating fine. But I was cancer free and eating fine before the test. My suggestion. Scratch the pepper and add a little octane boost instead.

  • Do you know how to make cowboy coffee? Think about it. They didn't have electric percolators, paper filters, nor Mr. Coffees back then ya know...

  • To help settle the grounds to the bottom of the pot, add a couple spoonfuls of cold water.

  • When I was in the hospital after surgery a few years ago, they brought me breakfast and the nurse had left a tube of this special jelly that was made in Kentucky. I have to say it tasted like crap.

  • I will have to try a brew.
It is also added to anti fouling paint for the boat bottom, to ward off crud, and appease the sea gods.
