  • First I have to tell you this gun is sweet! I installed the correct lanyard ring and pin, period correct grips. The action was really smooth but really stiff. I went through it with an oil stone and that helped then I installed a spring kit from Wilson Combat. Wow! Single action trigger pull is just about 4 pounds and crisp. Double action is close to 8 pounds. Any lighter and I would worry about it LOL. Can't wait to get this old girl to the range. Think I just found me a new carry gun.

  • Sweet piece, Dan! I'm amazed the action needed polishing, must not seen much use over all the decades.

  • Here is a British .38S&W I'm working on. This one has nice trigger too.

  • Dan,
I wish you wouldn't post this stuff.
I have limited $ for toys and spend most of that on my tractors.
But every time I see a post about hand guns, especially revolvers, I get to feeling conflicted and think tractors are maybe the wrong path.
That my friend, is a Very Nice piece of hardware.
