  • Camouflaged Ford
  • We brought my friends 545 up to the land yesterday and used the forks to lift this deer stand up on stilts.
I thought the color hides it pretty well in the remaining leaves.
    What an awesome tractor!
I used it to move a bunch of trees that blew down in some straight-line winds we had. It will pick up a whole tree like it was a match stick.
It was a beautiful day to be outside.
Rifle opener is 3 weeks from today.

  • Cool. Reminds me of when I was seriously thinking about buying a wooden set of kiddie swings/jungle gym to use as a platform for a blind. Wife said if we buy a jungle gym it ain't going to go in the woods! I ended up with a massive crate at work from a new Mori Seiki CNC machine we got in. I won't be building blinds after August though - like things to get settled down by October 1 -the archery opener. Michigan firearm season opens on NOV 15. This will most certainly be the last time baiting is legal in MI as the DNR is going to try and curtail the TB and CWD spreading like wildfire now. We've used food plots for over 40 years so no worries with us.

  • Ours opens today...it's pouring down rain all over the whole southeast, no hunting for me.. Went yesterday with the powder and saw 16, nothing I wanted. We are going back Tuesday and stay the week. The rut is in here and a lot of deer are moving.
