  • Went to Tractor Supply this morning.
I had to show my drivers license to
buy a quart of black paint. Did they
think I was going to drink it?

  • I went to Wally World last week and got some cold meds and There was a line behind me and I was in a hurry. The employee stopped and stared at me and Like I was the Bad guy and said, You look old enough.. I wondered what was her first clue the Gray Hair or the Wrinkles.
At least I didn't have to show my Drivers License.

  • Remember several years ago when the FDA started making pharmacies stock SUDAFED behind the counter and you needed to ask for it? It was due to the meth labs - bathtub meth makers used it as one of the ingredient. I use Ferrous Sulfate daily and have to ask for it from my pharmacist for the same reason. I recall when airplane glue was limited to purchase too. You need to be 18 or an adult.

  • A few years back in a nearby community the paint stores would check everyone unless you had a permanent account. The reason being was back then there was a near epidemic of huffing. Say what?, not knowing what that was the salesman showed me a pamphlet about Huffing, seems the preferred paint was spray cans but they would use any paint, pour some in a paper bag, put it over their face and inhale (huff) as much fumes as they could. Sad to see the pics some faces were covered with paints and hairlines were encrusted with old paint.

  • A fiew years back I had heard of kids inhaling hair spray
and suffocate to death because it closed off the lung from
getting air. I call that cleaning the gene pool.

  • Common practice at the TSC's in my area. ....Corporate policy due to inhaling/drinking various substances by some of society.

I'm 71, so usually I get away with just providing a date of birth.
