This year’s hay bales are using black annealed steel wire instead of sisal or plastic twine. Looks like 14 or 16 ga. I have been cutting them at the twist and not rolling them up. Anyone have suggestions for using them? They are about 6 1/2 ft lengths. I know they rust fairly quickly outdoors.
