  • Immigration rant.
  • The US Constitution in not a living document. There are people in the U S who want to rewrite it to serve their argument. The President has the right, actually the duty to follow the rule of law. The judge from Hawaii is trying to rewrite the Constitution, totally unlawful, done for political reasons. One should take note, 48 hours before this judge made this unlawful ruling, former President Obama paid him a visit. They both studied at Harvard and are close friends. The judge was appointed by Obama. Is Obama meddling in President Trump's executive order, one would think so. There are laws that provide for the President to prohibit any person from entering the USA. Entering the USA is not a right (as some will tell you), but a privilege.

    Your thoughts, anyone?

  • Of course he/they are, but that's what dems do.

This would be all over the media if any Republican or, especially conservative, had done so.

    Do not expect any change.

  • The Constitution is the fundamental LAW of the land. It does not live or breathe, but does have a very rigid set of LAWS governing its change. It amazes me that politicians can say the Constitution lives and breathes and at whim can be interpreted to mean something other than what it explicitly says, other laws, let me see if I can think of one, oh yes, the Affordable Care Act, does not live and breathe and must remain as is (in their interpretation).

In my career I worked for one company that had a motto: All rules apply except for when they don't.

Maybe that should be the mantra of a political party the next go around. You think?

  • I sincerely hope Trump brings them both up on charges and gets both a prison sentence.
Of course, the sentence would be carried out in a country club prison, but it may still put a slowdown on the horsehockey going on.
