  • Conyers'friend Riddle was on WJR radio today and said when Conyers was first elected he was only one of 3 African Americans and therefore was the representative of all African Americans. I did not know Detroit had that large of a precinct.
Just had a thought. Maybe Pelosi did not reject Conyers. Hmm.

  • Yep, and on Frank Beckmans' WJR show earlier in the morning he brought up the Conyers 2006 story from an aide who claimed she was delegated to babysit his kids, then made full time nanny for his kids, all at the taxpayers expense. If there was ever a reason for term limits, this guy is the poster boy. His wife needs to go as well...

After sex abuse accusations leave Rep. Conyers reeling, longest serving member of Congress will retire
    November 29, 2017 | Kyle Becker

Rep. John Conyers (R-MI) saw his multi-decade career in Congress sullied by numerous credible accusations of sexual misconduct were made by women working on Capitol Hill.

The representative has not resigned from the accusations, which arise from four staffers’ signed affidavits that he made unwanted sexual advances.

The alleged infractions include sexual favors, unwanted public touching, and misusing staff to transport women suspected of having an affair with Conyers.

On Wednesday night, Rep. Conyers did not resign from office, as many political observers were anticipating. Instead, Conyers announced that he would not be running again in the 2018 elections.
