  • Coleman Young II to run for Conyers seat
  • The son of the late Detroit mayor Coleman Young, the first black mayor in the US, Coleman Young II is going to run for Conyers' vacant seat in the senate.

  • Yep, I was born Detroit, lived there for my early years and parents always would take us downtown or over to Canada on weekends. After Roman Gibbs, the Young years spawned corruption and the decline of the city -just look up the stats. Young was the pawn of the Mafia too. He had his hands in so much corrupt crap many still don't know about. There was a group of young punk drug dealers called the Young Boys in Detroit in the 80's. Guess what? It was not a reference to their ages...Saddened to see the city that was once the heartbeat of America go to the dogs.
