  • June 6, 1944. Nearly 4,500 Allied soldiers and sailors died storming the Normandy beaches on this day. Thousands more died in the weeks and months thereafter.

I offer my most sincere thanks to all of our veterans.

  • Thank you to all who served.
My dad was 20 years old flying a B-24 over Japan.
My mom said when the B-24s flew over the ground would shake.
Can you imagine being able to close your eyes and see those times in your actual memories. They lived in California when dad was in training.

  • My dad, (may he RIP), as a 27 year old USN Seabee, helped build the air bases in the Marianna's that those bombers flew from.

Bless all of the Veterans, men and women alike, who have kept our homeland free!

  • Thanks, Larry.

My Mother was an Army Nurse in the South Pacific. She spent over three years in MacArthur's Army in New Guinea and the Philippines.

I learned respect for all of our veterans from her.

  • My dad had a life long friend he met as his instructor flying multi engines. He was 25 years old at the time so my dad and the rest of the 20 year old's on the plane called the 25 year old "Old Man".
