  • This Why We Stand
  • Here is a partial list of some important reasons why we stand up for the Star Spangled Banner and honor America. Our Constitution guarantees Freedom of Speech, yes, but we also have laws in place for treason and other crimes against our great country. The people have always criticized the government, but in a pro-active way. All of you ignorant liberal socialists, cry baby, no talent kneelers would know this stuff if you had gone to school, and, like your socialist leader, couldn’t produce a legal birth certificate to prove your USA citizenship. You millionaire nobodies p!ss and moan yet do nothing about what you believe your cause is. Many do it simply because you think it is fashionable to badmouth democracy and the USA and President Trump no matter what. Here’s the deal. If you think you have it so terribly bad in the USA, then leave it! It’s a FREE country. This list as I said is only partial. The US was involved in several dozen other wars but then you don’t even know about the major ones. Go live in China, N. Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan, et al. Better yet, shut the F up, put on a real uniform and go stand a watch.

    Revolutionary War - 1775-1783
    Civil War – 1861-1865
    WWI – 1914-1918
    WWII – 1939-1945
    Korean War – 1950-1953
    Vietnam War - 1965-1975
    Gulf War – 1990-1991

And the war in Afghanistan still goes on…

  • Many feel like it's genuinely disrespectful towards our country and veterans. Others just use the disrespectful excuse to dismiss or smear the person kneeling or the cause for the kneel. Instead of trying to understand the point and message of the kneel, they get pi$$ed because some “privileged athlete” had the audacity to kneel for a political statement. (I guess they prefer riots and violence?). Apparently, neo nazis have a right to protest, but heaven forbid someone kneels during the national anthem. That's just too unpatriotic.

These conservatives jump through hoops to talk about how political correctness has gone too far, or that people need to stop being so sensitive. With that, I say they need to take their own advice with this because they're being nothing but hypocritical at this point. Who's the true snowflake? Forced patriotism isn't freedom, genius.

Just a few days ago, Trump made a speech calling out NFL owners and athletes saying:

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when someone disrespects our flag to say, `Get that son of a bitch off the field right now! Out. He’s fired! He’s fired!“

    And also tweeted:

"Great solidarity for our National Anthem and for our Country. Standing with locked arms is good, kneeling is not acceptable. Bad ratings!”

So since Trump is hardly the most patriotic person or president in this country, (having avoided the Vietnam draft on bogus deferments, defended time after time neo nazis as “good people”, criticized actual veterans like John McCain for being captured in war or the Khan family whose gold star son died in combat) I think it's fair to say that Trump and anyone who supports Trump are hypocrites when it comes to patriotism and respect.

So in conclusion, I think many conservatives are being sensitive hypocrites who rather be part of the problem or ignore the problem at hand…. which is, there has been way too much racial division and discrimination in this country. And I serisouly applaud the athletes for taking a stand (metaphorically) for their beliefs.

  • Well, James the troll from AZ, you have proven the point once again that liberals take everything and twist it into whatever, however they they want as long as it is anti-Trump/anti-America. My post is about respecting the US Flag and what it stands for. You just had to interject some more anti-Trump dribble into it just to get your own libtard rocks off. Donald Trump turned 18 in 1964 and ENROLLED into Fordham University and later graduated in 1968 from Wharton with a BS degree in ECEONOMICS! The war in Vietnam technically did not get the US involvement until 1965. Yes he did get a deferment, but was classified 1-Y meaning he could be called up in an extreme emergency. Many, many other young men also got deferments too, or migrated to Canada as cowards. So go buy a pair of workboots and some work clothes, grab a shovel and get ready to start building that wall down there. Oh, by the way, what years did your idols Klint-Ton and Owebummer serve in the military???

  • James R from Arizona is not to be confused with James Rushford from Crazy California (James R., you could be a leader here) I proudly served in Vietnam and would do it again, in part so geniuses like Mr. "R" have the right to be so wrong and so express their wrongheadedness. "R" the definition of a modern political liberal/progressive is "hypocrite."

  • Oregon is calling you to move here. Clinton, Your other hero, also avoided the draft. Obama avoided it from his lack of birth right.
Your "think-ing" is just at home in this land of left. Come on up!
I gave Uncle Sam a blank check with my life for a few years. Some million dollar jock gave what?
    Here's an idea.
A good idea for you. Move to New Zealand with that SCOTUS justice. Perhaps Canada with Samuel L. Jackson if you prefer.
Pack your cr*p up in a ditty bag and hit the bricks.
Once you hit the ocean, start swimming.

  • ""So in conclusion, I think""

About the biggest lie you told in this post is the last two words in the above quote.

With that in mind, the rest of the post can be ignored.
