  • Fire out west
  • So the left is burning down and Trumpster is blaming "Forest Management".
He should have blamed the lack of management from the tree huggers and he fell short.
Going back in History a few years, the Mexicans and Indians and who ever else knew of the Santa Anna winds and never built in the hills due to fire danger.
White man comes along and all sense leaves.
White man need watch to tell him when lunch time is so he can eat. . .
I would venture to guess that the trees and brush might not need trimming for the next few months.

  • Same thing with ocean front buildings, especially on stilts.
I was in the line of fire in Kelowna BC in 003. 258 homes destroyed, all in a subdivision pushed in to the rural area, relying on electric water pumps.
One rural property suffered damage. My friend Stans. They had enough water to put it out, but the firemen were told to leave Stan's place, and try and save the subdivision homes.
26,000 folks got evacuation orders, but we left some behind to man the water systems.
