  • Life Is Good
  • Folks, our elitists, both Est. Repubs. and socialists dems, have gone home for the holidays, regardless of the plight of the poor, starving, oppressed, sick, etc., etc., etc., "asylum seekers" hoping to hook up to the taxpayer funded umbilical cord, herein.

Regardless of your political persuasion, folks, you've just gotta love this.

Was this once a great country, or what?

  • Washington pretty much closes down after Thanksgiving anyway as many begin taking long holiday leave. The Wall may not be the answer but it's a start. The dog & pony show the socialdems are putting on is all part of their delay tactic til January 3. Late yesterday a new proposal/compromise was put on the table for Schumer/Pelosi and no response. President Trump is right to blame the shutdown on the dems. The Dems are now blaming the shutdown on Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter. Un-frickin-believable. Getting out of Syria and Afghanistan is a good move. If they get stupid, nuke them and our troops will be out of harms way.

  • I beg your pardon.

Where, herein, have I voiced an opinion about Syria?

  • Good post, Tim. We don't need more gold star families to pay taxes to support lazy, coward refugees.

  • 4 GI's. Now if they were carrying life insurance through SGLI at $400K max each, that is the first 1.6 Mil spent.
Add in the cost of training, equipment and support troops if these were front line troops.
If these were just REMF's then the cost would be lower. However, I suspect these were Grunts and the cost was a bit higher.
Shoot down a pilot and add more money for better training and the cost of the bird.
Maybe you should volunteer to go.

  • Easy for you to say. You weren't related to any of them, were you?

  • Engineers are cool. They blow up stuff. Sometimes they build stuff. Still, glad I did not run into you in Vietnam. My patience was thin then and I was armed. Now I would love to meet you in a deposition. Folks like you are so fun to depose. Then I read their bs back to them at trial. Trial Lawyer Nirvana.

  • Thanks for your service. Glad you weren't in my outfit. War is tough enough without a nattering nabob of negativism around.

  • A month of correction is just that - a correction. Only the Chicken Little never-Trumpers will find joy in a temporary correction. Look at how the stock market and GDP growth as gone over the last two years, after 8 years of incompetence from a pathologically narcissistic ideologue.

  • You seem to be taking a LOT of joy from bad news at Christmas. Do you not have anything better to do than troll a website to which you make no tractor-related posts? Feeling kinda down and depressed over the holidays that you want to play Christmas troll? Does that make you a happy?

  • Ah, I get it. You are not interested in sharing how you keep your tractor running "fine" - you only participate in the tractor forums when it benefits you alone, right? Typical troll..........

  • Guys, we should feel sorry for Paul. It is Christmas, let's pray that the Lord helps him see a better way.

  • Joe, Paul can't help himself. He's been everywhere, seen everything, done everything, knows everything (apologies to Strother Martin) and is a self righteous liberal who probably worships Chris Matthews. Kind of sends a tingle up my leg just to read his stuff. I suggest we pray for him.

  • Very well said, Jim.

I too, forgive Paul. Indeed, I will pray for him.

    Ignorance is, after all, forgivable.

  • Paul, look at the market compared to the day he came into power, then complain. HA HA. As for the rest, just part of draining the swamp. It's been going on for 2 years and will for 6 more. ENJOY and Merry Christmas.
