  • Open borders and the drugs coming across
  • Data on drug seizures at the U.S. border indicate an alarming volume of trafficking taking place in recent years. Since 2009, heroin seizures at the southwestern border have almost tripled, while meth seizures quintupled through 2014. Worse yet, cocaine and marijuana remain two of the most commonly seized drugs along our southern borders, equating to millions of pounds seized by U.S. Border Patrol.

These figures help paint the broader landscape of drug overdose and abuse reaching record levels in the United States. In this report we’ll examine the scale of substance seizures and the increase in trafficking over the last decade to gain a better understanding of how trafficking of illicit drugs has influenced the growing drug problem in America.

  • A problem I have with a lot of news sources, is their articles are in fact opinions. As such they are slanted to which ever side a person is on, before they gather their info. Surely you must see this too.
News people seem to know everything about everything. But when I have some knowledge about the subject matter, I think they are wrong.
I do like reading the Globe and Mail, as it is quite clear when they are reporting news, or writing an opinion piece. A good political opinion writer, should not reveal how they voted. You probably think that is not possible.

Some of the writing for youtube articles and other news, is getting worse, and often so bad it is hard to make any sense of it.
Usually the time to express an opinion is at the polling station. That seems to work.
    Rave on. Island Mike

  • Exactly Mike. The mainstream media have degraded from journalism to blog writing. ~90% of "news" is anti-Trump, despite all of his accomplishments to-date. The American public sees these results and then reads the blog posts from the MSM and that is why public trust of the MSM is so low.

Countering facts from an organization dedicated to resolving our drug abuse problem vs. "never Trumper" blog writers is weak, but expected effort from our new troll here.
