  • Mexico will pay for the wall
  • It is interpretation in my mind. Is/was it literal or an idiom? Someone pops me in the nose and I say, "you will pay for that". I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for any cash! Bet your bottom dollar that a reprisal will occur.
Like the President said today, Mexico would never have written a check. Anyone who believed that they would is being nieve about how make a deal. Remember, the art of the deal?

  • Because Trump will squeeze it out of them in trade deals and Mexican expenses taking care of those that don't get in.

    Example:
When I started my business in 1986, a man cheated me out of 116.00. My partner wanted to cut ties with his company, but I said no. In the next 5 years, I charged him above retail for product totaling 7 times the 116.00 that he cheated me out of.
That's how Trump will deal with Mexico. They will pay more for our product than other countries will.

  • Build the wall.
You want a faster reaction from Mexico?
    Close the border.
    Build two walls.
Climb the first one, no problem.
    You won't climb the second.
Motion detector software can take care of most problems.
    Build the wall.
When all the libs and dems have all their doors open and keys in cars,
I will stop saying Build the wall.
    Until then,
    Build the wall.

  • That's because they are more in touch with reality than you.

  • In a previous post he said he locked his front gate and now everything is open.
There seems to be a disconnect.

  • I know, right? Perhaps his Republican family, who know him better than us, are protecting their assets from HIM.....you know, given that he's into the income redistribution nonsense and all..........

  • A like opinion a civics lesson does not make
  • >> Donald Trump and the GOP are the only ones to blame for this political stunt. <<

That's not a civics lesson - it's a blog posters opinion with which you agree.

Trump is trying to keep a campaign promise - what a unique thing these days, because "if you like you insurance policy....."

Pelosi and Schumer are on record as being for border security and immigration control and the YouTube videos are out there as evidence. Oh yeah, so was da big Owe and that's out there, too.

$5 billion dollars is a rounding error in our expenditures, so it's not the money that Dem's are worried about. Hell, when are Dem's EVER worried about p!ssing away our tax dollars? This is a power struggle, based on hate of Trump and an attempt to take control. Trump's not going to let that happen and he's playing Chuckie and Nancy like a fiddle and they don't even know it, nor does the MSM or you. Let's see what happens.

  • $5B is a GOOD start.

$5B is a good investment, the ROI of which will save $150B in illegal alien benefits being subsidized by American's middle class.

$5B is keeping a campaign promise

    Build the wall!

  • What you refuse to acknowledge is that
  • Trump supporters do NOT care WHO pays for the wall. We are ecstatic to have our tax dollars used for border security vs. paying for illegals to live here. Who pays will not affect how we feel about him if he succeeds. It's only a big deal to you folks with TDS who can't live with the fact that your gal was so inept that she could not even win a rigged election. Maybe a participation medal will make you feel better:

  • Re: What you refuse to acknowledge is that
  • Hey, Pul, please explain this if you can.. Looks like a bunch of two faced hypocrite democraps to me.

The 1,200-page bill, which now faces a stern test in the Republican-controlled House, carries a $50 billion price tag. It would double the number of U.S. Border Patrol agents along the southern border and require the construction of 700 miles of fencing there.

  • Re: What you refuse to acknowledge is that
  • And how did that work out in the Presidential election for y'all? Last November followed history, but not to the extent of some past mid-term elections. But, if that helps you deal with your TDS so you can give the puppy and coloring book a break, that's cool.
