Here is my idea. We all write letters to our respective US Reps and our US Senators. Actual letters that have to be mailed at a US Post Office. We would each have to acquire the office addresses, not in DC.
Each letter should contain a FOIA (freedom of informatation act) request for some piece of information that they should be able to easily answer. Like, how much does your local (name state and city) office rent cost per month. Or, who do you pay your office rent to. etc.etc. Another might be, how many people work for pay in your home office.
FOIA requires them to provide the information in a specified time if no real researh is required. We have to be careful to NOT incure administration costs beyond a copy machine and maybe postage. Excessive costs or time to respond can be challenged in court. Maybe we time it to some function or election that they are sensitive about.
Think they want bad publicity?
Any thoughts? How about creating a list of FOIA topics that we can ask.
They (Dems) seem to want to play fast and loose with their powers in congress to require information from over 80 people associated with President Trump. Turn about is fair play.
Further, send this out to your e-mail distribution and get buy-in there.
