  • US Soldier Killed In Afghanistan - 2 weeks ago:

In other news…I’m already sick of hearing about Kobe Bryant. You too? Can anybody name the other people who were killed besides him and is daughter? The media is having a field day covering this ad nauseoum. People die tragically every day. Why don’t they broadcast the soldiers being killed fighting for our freedom every day? Or the babies who are aborted every day? Watch how this will play for weeks and maybe get flags lowered to half mast, maybe, but not unless Trump has something to say about it. This morning I was watching the ABC news, local and national, and listening to local radio WJR, and counted no more than ten minutes went by without hearing something on this story, but, none had anything new to offer.

  • Last week in the Buffalo news a paper arrived here with a 1/3 front page photo some SCHMUCK running with a football to make a touch down.

Berried on the inside of the paper was a article about 2 inches long of 11 GIs getting injured in sand land in a rocket attack.

Am I the only one to see what is wrong in that.
That will keep happening until WE THE PEOPLE wake up and demand priorities get straightened out.

  • AMEN! Those are exactly the words that I expressed to our kids as they were growing up. (and still do) They are 53,51 and 49. Now I say that to my 4 grandchildren.

  • Certainly devastating for his family and friends and a shock to avid sports fans. However, there are many, many people in our country, and the world, who are brilliant and gifted in their endevors but without the vast publicity of an entertainer. There is absolutely no reason to lower our flag.

  • Just call them the way it is: Though tragic, just remember that Kobe, as is with most NBA, NFL, and MLB players are anti-Trump. Here's a link from the recent past of Kobe and LeBron displaying their ignorance and spewing their anti-Trump venom. Do you think the media would be making such a big deal about his death if he was white???

  • I am a conservative. I have numerous friends and acquaintances who are liberal. We can disagree on various issues but keep it civil, sometimes even poking fun at each other. If any person(s), or anyone of their family members, experience a crisis, I will be supportive in the situation. Whether conservative or liberal, we all experience sorrow. We ALL need to remember our humanity.

  • Me too, John, however the liberal left dems are not the same. They don't care. What was that Shifty said last week -"...the American people are too stupid to rely on voters..." paraphrased.

  • Yup. And my response to Adam Schiff is, it is stupid to point out an opinion of stupidity in others. Remember the old adage, when you point your finger at others, there are 3 pointing back at you.
In my biased opinion, the stupid american electorate got very smart very quickly in 2016.
As my father taught me and I taught my kids: When I was 16 my dad was stupid. When I turned 21 he was very smart.
