  • Time to plant some grass seed
  • No not grass, lawn seed. You may have heard on the national news about our illustrious governor blocking the purchase of seed, garden materials, paint etc.
HA! I was taught to respect authority, BUT, respect that is earned. Elected authority already has one strike against them by being in politics. Our Michigan Governor is doing what she can to destroy small businesses.
That said, I'm planting this Friday if the weather holds. About 1/2 acre. I have 50 pounds of seed. Let her come and slap my hand!
PS I had to laugh this morning listening to the WJR Detroit radio. Person being interviewed by Frank Beckman talked about her lack of ANY experience in management of any business or organization other than her elected offices.
Her title has gone to her head and she is being dictatorial. Today she is saying that her executive order will have to be extended. Just happened on the day, today, of the 2nd Gridlock demonstration in Lansing, our capitol.

  • I have neighbor who thinks his lawn is a manicured golf course and spends a lot of time any money on it. Granted his lawn looks good, and he can do what he wants, but I told hom a few years ago I threw away my edger, rear bagger, and leaf blower when i moved to a rural rear in 1990. He is from the city, grew up in a Detroit suburb and is as a city boy as they come. On St. Patrick's Day he was out spreading iron and fertilizer and yesterday he was out mowing his grass already. Kudos to him. I went to Kroger yesterday and have noticed price gouging. I also saw ARBY's, have had their 5 for 5 forever now has 5 Classic Roast Beefs for $10!!! Watch it!

  • Yup. I fully expect to see inflation-price gouging. They lose my business.

  • I am about two weeks away from spreading dirt and planting grass seed. Building a new cottage on my Island. Need to finish the drain systems, get them inspected, then I can move dirt with Herb 9N.

  • Experience is never a prerequisite for demo pols.

BHO had not managed so much as a check book before becoming POTUS.
