  • I am sure my Remmington 788 will shoot better knowing the factory is out of a crazy state.

  • I had a Remington once or twice. The first one was the Nylon 66 .22 caliber. Dad bought it new from Sears back in the 60's.
Great .22 with an outstanding history. The next and last Remington was a 700(?) 30.06 if the memory is working. That was a terrific weapon with a great history of accidental discharges. Mine was a great one. Flip the safety and it would fire off a round. I tried target practice with it and couldn't quite get it targeted properly. That was also a time when Remington was denying any problems with that death trap. Long after disassembled it, disposed of the bolt action, I sent the rest of it of the Numrich with the Monte Carlo stock.
The wife never did let me live that one down.
Remmy might be making wonderful guns now, I had my fun times with Remmy.
    No more.
My next toy will be the Benelli M2 in a 12Ga. with an magazine extension.
I might have to sell off the Weatherby PA-08 12Ga.

  • My 788 in 6mm (at 3300 fps) Remington shoots minute of angel groups all day. Never had a problem with it. It loves the McMillan stock i gave it for Christmas.
