  • Transitory
  • Those of us who are competent well knew that inflation was not "transitory" when she said it.

  • I think my study books on economics are best left on the shelf. A quick look, and I can not even find the exam results. But I did pass, and we can pretend I did okay.
Unkle Crusty and the Govt. are currently having two fiscal standoffs.
One is for a GST, Goods and Services, rebate for taxes spent on building material for a new home. The Govt. has already spent more $$$ on administration, than I am claiming. $2750.00 total. They have been working on my file for about three years.
The other is the taxable amount on a surrendered life insurance policy. A subject that no one studies, except life agents doing continuing education. I sent the tax department a letter quite a few months ago. I really do think they are in tilt mode.
If the computer does not provide an answer, all is lost.
GST is a tax on all goods and services. 7% plus a provincial tax of 5%.
It might be one of the few ways to do something about the Fed. dept. Or, as the loony left up here has found, more $$$ to spend.

  • Of course it was never going to be transitory. You cannot flood the country with money the way that the Brandon regime has without lowering the value of all money. Econ 101.

Yellen belongs in an old folks home with Brandon.

  • Agreed, on both accounts.
