  • Energy cost
  • I live in Naples Florida, recently we've noticed the gas prices are steadily rising. I understand during the summer months gas prices rise due to vacation traveling. Many service stations have pricing for reg at $3.50/3.60.
What is the pricing near you?

  • We save about $20 per tank, filling the Honda in WA, instead of BC.
Our gas is expected to rise about 80 cents per gallon with the new carbon tax. But then low income families get a tax rebate. The cost to run all the Govt, departments in charge of a variety of rebates, probably exceeds the money derived from the taxes collected. I think it would be better to scrap the extra tax, close the Govt. departments, and stop selling coal to China. And clamp down on the major polluters / causes of whatever ails them.
If the cost of gas continues to rise to silly levels in BC, expect to see more of us in the US, in our 13 mpg camper van. Imperial gallons.

  • Federales/States force fuel costs upward each spring by mandating so-called summer formula gasoline.

This in addition to seasonal driving practices....

  • Excuse me. $4.40; $3.40 was wishful thinking. My F 150 uses premium gas at a cost of close to $5.00

  • So what's your problem?
I just picked up a 1993 F350 dually with a flatbed and the ever impressive 7.5 liter engine at 8 MPG.
I responded to an marketplace ad where the seller listed it with the 7.3 which is the diesel engine. After lifting the hood and finding the 7.5, he dropped the price to $300. I couldn't pass it up, especially when he threw in a standard bed lumber rack which is worth the $300 price tag by itself.
It has some issues that will get worked out and might be driving in a few days.
