  • Inevitability
  • This, folks, is a problem without a solution.

The United States will eventually collapse as did the Soviet Union.

    Plan accordingly.

  • “There will always be more. That’s what more means!” - economist Earl Sinclair. Until we can rid ourselves of the career politicians, it will never be resolved.

  • Agreed, regarding career politicians.

Unfortunately, our Founding Fathers did not anticipate the emergence of career politician parasites. Had they, they would surely have written term limits into the Constitution.

That said, we will never see term limits (absent revolution). Reagan could not do it, Trump cannot do it, and a dozen Trumps cannot do it.

Regarding "more," there is no more road down which to kick the can. Soon, the US will not be able to pay it's SS and Medicare obligations. When the Soviet Union could no longer pay it's pensioners, it collapsed. Expect the same. Expect fragmentation when it happens.

  • Like I said, there is no more "road."
