Thank you all for the kind words & thoughts & prayers.

this mess is why I have been depressed & not on the forums much I just pop in look & ocasional post a few good deals I run across. I really enjoyed this sight & still do just been between a rock & a hard place.

I do not really want to sell but I see no reason to keep to let sit indefinately. when I bought my cabin on 5 acres on top of a mountain I had not planned to get into farming it was meeting a nice lady 6 years ago that lived on an old farm that got me into this & I used to help my grandparents on a couple acres growing up but never really gave it alot of thought, I had an 8N growing up used around the house for a very tiny residential garden & to move cars around & kept it until someone ran off road in a truck & totaled it.

just when I was really having fun. last year only had a small section & had been clearing a little bit at a time & got a couple acres plowed probably 2 weeks before mother inlaw passed away in November she was looking forward seeing the old home place being farmed again this farm has roots back to 1791 first Jail in this county & courthouse was on the property atached to the colonials house. house still stands but is unsafe & can see a basement door leading to the jails but never tried to get to because of the rotten floors. The colonial settled here after the battle of the guilford courthouse & this road is named after him & he is buried in cemetary located on this property. sketches can be found doing google I tried to research this place at 1 time & found it was built between 1780 & 1790 with first court being held in 1791 & he was at battle of guilford courthouse around the 1780 time I dont know all my exact date but I have heard so much from re-anactors & historians.

because of financial decisions I made before I met wife. morgage on my cabin plus a second to pay off credit card bills that got out of hand I couldnt go get a loan & pretty much will be stuck for next 3 to 4 years then maybe can plan to get a small farm if not out of reach.

I could have sold the cabin to pay off my morgages & maybe had a little extra & maybe could have got a loan to pay this off but then I would have paid off someone elses property & I would have then had all of wifes brothers & sisters wanting their share of "THEIR" inheritance their mothers property I would had paid off but not in my name but none would hand over 1 cent to help save property but wanted their money.

so anyway this is what has been going on in my life since November 7, 2007

Thank everyone again,
Randy
