If you are planning on the plow being idle for a long time in between the next use, I just clean all the dirt and moisture off of it and spray with an aluminum paint. That way it loks like a new moldboard and as soon as I use it next time it wil onlty take a few furrows to polish the paint off again. If short term storage is what you need you could use a gun grease or similar product.
