The ad says you can mount one light as a headlight and the other as a rear worklight ( right fender ) or purchase an additional headlight for a total of three and use one as a worklight. I know the traffic laws of most states back then was the tail light HAD to be on the left side. Also, many states did not require farm equipment to be licensed so the plate bracket was a moot point.
