Thank you Tim for the help. this is quite good. I was thinking the adjuster was a wheel, with little teeth on it, and you turned it with a brake spoon, or screwdriver. i see now, the adjuster is on the opposite of the plate. Looks like a square that i may be able to turn.
betting the darn things are probably frozen, as i am not sure it has ever been adjusted.

SO, on to the garage, with tools in hand, and get to work.
