It all depends on what you are after and what your budget will allow. If you are doing a complete restoration and are after the original look, I suggest a good brand and good shade of the vermillion (red) and grey. PPG is a good brand. Expect to pay at least $200 for a gallon of good paint. Be sure to use an alkyd oil-based paint. Budget minded? I like the CASE/IH RED available at your local CASE/IH dealer. TISCO is even cheaper, makes a red that closely resembles the original Vermillion and it is their TP-110 IH RED, but you need the UV blocker and hardener otherwise it will fade over time and start to look like it is suppose to -International Harvester red. All the other TISCO FORD RED paints are way too orangy for me. TISCO paint is made by Van Sickle Paint. For the Ford Medium Grey you can get from your local CNH dealer or the TISCO brand works good too. When I do my 8N again I will not hesitate to spend the extra money on good paint.
