Hi current switch equals starter switch you push in on steering box. I for one charged the battery over nite and the bulb battery acid tester showed good side of the green all 3 cells. Wireing all replaced in the origional style with correct gauge .It was all working fine for several months . I don't drive it very much because it has the grease leak problem and the bad noisey transmission . but the motor always starts rite up and just puerrs sweetly / since i rebuilt an old orig carb. I guess if the nuteral starter button switch tests good I will just replace that brand new battery with the one in the 8n and see if that makes it start . then assume the new battery was bad . The first bimart bat i got had a bad cell rite out of the store .So they are probably not great batteries.
