Around here (central VA), most used implements are so abused and beat up they are basically worthless. Anything in good condition is so expensive, most people just buy new. New implements are generally not made nearly as strong as the old ones, but new and shiny sells better. I've bought and sold a few 2-bottom plows that were in decent shape for around $350. My big 2-gang disc plow was basically free, but I had to weld the frame back together to make it usable. Running N-tractors generally sell between $1000 to $2500, but at the high end of that range, you can get decent NAA, 600, 800, or Thousand series tractors.
