I said not to change float setting. 9/32 was the original spec as the 8N Operator's Manual shows a GO/NO-GO gage with GO (minimum) setting at .26 and NO-GO (maximum) at .297". 9/32 (.281") is roughly the mean setting. FORD had carb issues and that's why they came out with the M/S TSX-241-B and C models. Is the leak coming from the 1/8 NPT plug or the sintered bronze weep port? Is the float needle valve inserted and seated with correct gasket? Is the venturi in backwards?
