It wouldn't look so bad if the air cleaner were mounted correctly, but otherwise a pretty nice install.

I'd have mounted the fuel regulator closer to the pump, lost the rubber lines and made the fuel line parallel with the top line of the engine. Gettin' old I guess giving in to the Nanny State. THough the line is in the open I don't like rubber fuel lines near an exhaust manifold. What's next? Seat belts and EROPS on my JD "M"?

Definitely a machine shed and parade queen I'd say. Even if the air cleaner were raised a foot or so (improving the look IMO) you would still be cleaning chaff out of it every couple of rounds tedding straw down wind or mowing a dry field.

I wouldn't mind owning something like that just for the uniqueness. You don't see many in-line conversions. Hell, it would probably handle four fourteens in new breaking or sixteens in broke sandy loam.

My days of cropping hay are far in the past so it would probably be relegated to static display, an occasional pulling contest and pulling a bale rack loaded with FFA kids on straw bales in local parades.
