Well, you could get the new positive drive Bendix from Just8N's, or, as I said, give the tractor a tune-up. The old style Bendix just disengages at a lower rpm. It will work fine as long as the tractor is well tuned.
Unless you know how to use that crank, best to leave it alone. Especially if the tractor is just the least bit out of time.
