first thing to do is start the tractor and put the lift handle to max lift. then just pick up the lift arms and pump then up and down. sometimes this will prime it. if not-my show jubilee looses prime regular, some of the other dozen or so that i own. just go to harbor freight, or even some walmarts. buy a transfer pump. this is a small hand operated pump. used for pumping bilges out years ago. it has a hose at the top and one at the bottom on a cylinder, pump shaft coming out. all i do is stick the end of the hose into the bleed plug on the pump- them start the tractor and keep it at idle. pump until you get it to prime. shouldn't take more than a half a dozen or so pumps.. when it primes there will be a lot of oil. kill the tractor and put the plug back in. it should work then. on my show tractor i put shutoff and an airhose fitting . i can just slip the pump hose over the fitting and open the shutoff. when it primes. just shut off the shutoff and unhook the hand pump. other tractors may loose the prime accasionally. been doing it for years
