Thanks for all the tips and modifications. I've had a garage fire do to a leaking carburetor a long time ago. This was do to a bad fuel line. The first time I saw a carb was in a Willys jeep back in 65. Today I own 3 cars with carbs. This tractor is the first machine I've owned that has the fuel tank above the carburetor. Even if I bought a new carb I would feel nervous about leaving the fuel on for more than a few minutes.
it's kind of like someone breaking into your house and steeling a lot of your stuff including your tools. Now I have alarms and cameras. Funny how that works.
Rebuild kit on it's way, and still looking for a lever valve. 12v electric unit might not work do to this 6V battery.
