Yes mine looks similar to yours. I have a 3000 with fluid in the tires. I think it should do fine pushing snow or gravel. In front of the seat is a lever that goes in/out . In the in position the rear 3 points runs up and down as it should. When I pull it out the front blade goes up and down with the use of the rear 3 point lift lever. I'm in northeastern Indiana just out of the snow belt. We get some dandy snows sometimes but I'm sure not like you do. Last year I only had the 8N out twice to plow snow. Mild winter.
