I've had several nS that had been run with .825 pistons in them. Unfortunately the block wasn't made of material to withstand pistons running in it and they always end up completely worn to junk. They then need to be machined and sleeved back to stock. I have a 1950 8N that has a machine shop rebuilt engine in it. They left the .090 sleeves in place and bored it .060 over and put in oversize pistons
