Sound like you replace the whole cylinder safety valve as an assembly, so it should be fine. The control valve runs in bushing which is in the cylinder casting.. A used cylinder assembly might be better, but it is also used, soooooo, take your chances. One other thing. Make sure you have a good gasket between the cylinder assembly and the lift chest, also the spacer gaskets under the two opposite mounting bolts.
