Working on a friends tractor ('84 M-F) as he has had overheating issues late last year while mowing. At first I was going to replace the thermostat, then discovered that parts for these are no longer available. Then I found three pin holes in the radiator and realized what a PITA it is going to be to pull the radiator and take to a repair shop. I recall when I was teen, there was product we used called BARS-ALL or BARS-LEAK for small leaks. It was a temporary band-aid fix, I used it once on my '68 Ford Falcon and it seemed to work. So, what do you guys think? Try some bars-leak or pull radiator and service? I can't convince my friend to scrap out the M-F and get something better but really don't want to muck around with pulling this thing either. Is this stuff worth trying or is there something better?
